What is Wotanism?
Wotanism (also written as "Odinism," "Odhinnism," "Wodanism," or "Odianism") is the practice of ancient Teutonic traditions. These traditions are mostly practices of the Futhark runes of Odhinn's two ravens Huginn and Muninn (Knoweledge and Memory).

Why are there so many ways to say Odin?
Teutonic peoples (the ancient tribes of Scandinavia to Germany) had the same lore and Gods, but spoke many different languages. It is incorrect to assume there is just "Norse" or "Norwegian" mythology. Wotan (German), Odin (Modern Norse), Odhinn (Old Norse), Wodan(English) Wednes(Old-Polish), and Welles(Old-Slavic) are just some of the ways to say the same God. You will notice these three will be mentioned equally most often and interchangably throughout the club.

Sorry for being away for so long! Had trouble with lightning, it hit the apartments next to me and caused a fire. I had to evacuate, then wait for the electricity to come back before I could re-inhabit my apartment, then had to wait for the phone and internet to return.
